Where can I find information about requesting White House greetings, including birthday, anniversary and babys birth cards?
The White House Greetings Office staff and volunteers handle as many requests as possible, in accordance with a set of long-standing guidelines: • Birthday cards will be sent to individuals 80 years and above. A special card is sent for those who reach 100 years of age. • Anniversary greetings are extended only to those couples reaching their 50th (and subsequent) wedding anniversaries. • Wedding (sent after the event; include couples married names). • Baby’s Birth (send request only after baby’s birth, include full names of both baby and parents) Please include the following in your request: • Name and address of honoree(s) • Form of address (Mr., Ms., Dr., etc.) • Exact date of occasion • Age (birthdays) or number of years of marraige Your request must be received six weeks in advance of the event.
