Where can I find information about government tree seedling production and sales?
J. Frank Gaudet Tree Nursery, located in West Royalty, is the Islands largest nursery facility with 3,700 square meters of heated greenhouse space and an additional 2,200 square meters of unheated greenhouse space. Currently, the nursery produces bout 1.9 million tree seedlings representing 13 softwood and 6 hardwood species. The nurseries seedling production focuses on native species such as red and white pine, red, white and black spruce, eastern larch, balsam fir, hemlock, eastern white cedar, white and yellow birch, red and sugar maple, white ash and red oak.
