Where can I find information about Disability and Equality Awareness Training?

DPTAC recognises that the public continue to face daily obstacles when travelling. A key element of this is poor or inadequate disability equality training of staff. There is no accreditation of training providers or training packs available. DPTAC has, however, produced a ‘Disability and Equality Awareness Training Framework for Transport Staff’. The framework should help transport providers identify the requirements of disabled passengers, and the training staff require to help assist them properly.
