Where can I find information about creating audio CDs?
To create an audio CD that is compatible with a standard CD player you need to write the audio file to the CD-R disc as an audio track using a CD Recorder program. You cannot just copy an audio file to the CD in Windows Explorer. That will create a data track that is unreadable on standard CD players. CD-R discs should be used since CD-RW discs are not compatible with older CD players. Be sure to “close” the CD-R disc after writing all the audio tracks.
