Where can I find information about CMS user roles?
The best source of information is found in the Telelogic CMS Knowledgebase article Synergy/CM User Roles & Security. User roles are set using the ccm users command while in the ccm_admin role. (Typically the ccm_root user is able to assume the ccm_admin role.) The ccm_admin role should be available to as small a group as possible, and should be used as sparingly as possible, as it has almost unlimited permission. In general, ordinary developers should have the developer role; those responsible for builds and build management should also have the build_mgr role.
