Where can I find Hungarian paprika?
The Hungarian paprika sold in supermarkets is a pale imitation of the real thing. It’s good for coloring food, but doesn’t really give you the great paprika flavor you need. I don’t know the area you live in, so I can’t recommend any local stores, but you can get “real” Hungarian paprika from Bende.com. They appear to be in Vernon Hills, Illinois, but have a website.
