Where can I find historical and current default rates on sub prime mortgages?
This was selected as Best Answer A couple of sites that may be worth researching. First, http://calculatedrisk.blogspot.com. This lady (who recently passed away) provided some interesting information on all things financial. Look through the posts to see who she sources. Second, I regularly read postings to a blog at http://econompicdata.blogspot.com. This gentleman also references a number of sources that you might find useful for default rates. Finally, you might want to search http://thomas.loc.gov for testimony related to the bailout back in September. I would suspect that failures and failure rates were discussed in that testimony. Hope these help.
