Where can I find free articles/journals online for Sociology topics to help me on my research paper?

I could only ever find free journal articles by logging into networks via my university (college) computer. The college would have agreements for free text from these sources. Try going to your library online and accessing through there. The only other way is painful paper photocopying of actual articles. PubMed was the search site I used, but my specialty was food science, and i am not sure what sociology journals they would have.
