Where can i find foreclosures on homes?
Your local Realtor will have access to all the foreclosures. Mortgage companies almost always use a Realtor when selling their foreclosed homes. It is the fastest and most lucrative way to move the property. Another site would be HUD.gov. You should be able to find HUD homes there. If I were buying homes in a certain city I would ask the local Realtor for a list of “as is” homes in the area in the price range I want to buy. All of the cheaper distressed properties will be listed that way because the seller does not want to or can not afford do any repairs. If you can find a pre-foreclosure expert you can actually try and by a house at a discount before the bank even has possession. This will save you and the bank money but may take more time.
