Where can I find file deleted by Windows for security reasons?
Windows decides for you that certain file types, such as EXE, COM, PIF,REG, VBS ets might be a security risk. The fastest way to overcome it is to ask the person sending you any files is to change the file extension to a ‘harmless’ one. When the file finishes downloading, just change the extension back to the original one. This way you still protect yourself from any ‘bots’ or worms that try to send you harmful files, but you can still receive these files from trusted sources.
