Kansas City’s Metropolitan Community College offers EMT training at both its Blue River and Business & Technology campuses. A student can complete an EMT class in three months and then earn licensure as an EMT. Students can also continue their training as an EMT paramedic and earn a certificate or an associate of science degree.
