Art therapists are employed in numerous settings — community mental health agencies, psychiatric hospitals, school-based counseling programs, youth and family services organizations, rehabilitation centers, prisons and shelters, to name a few. To broaden employment horizons, Antioch’s master’s degree offers dual specialization in art therapy with either mental health counseling or couple and family therapy.
