A. EQUESTRIAN INJURIES IN U.S.EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT Centers for Disease Control researchers do an annual estimate of U.S. equestrian injuries based on coding done at key hospital emergency departments. Doris Bixby-Hammett MD has analyzed these reports going back to 1990 and they are available in the EMSA (formerly AMEA) newsletter archives.
