Where can i find dog agility training, in and around cumbria?
Wigton dog training club is near Carlisle in North Cumbria and do both obediance and agility. You have to go to an obediance class befor agility as they want to ensure you have control of your dog and that he isn’t aggressive as they are loose some of the time. The agility training happens near to Keswick. This is an excellent club, with some of the best dogs in the country as well as people who go for fun and don’t compete. The trainers have all competed at Crufts, and the junior team is doing exceptionaly well at the moment. They run limited period introduction courses, of about 8 weeks I think, which are for people who have never done agility and want to try it out with their dogs. Go to www.obedianceuk.com and look on the club profiles page. The contact details are listed there, alphabetically by club name. There are also several clubs further south in Cumbria, Lune Valley and Eden Valley being two that I know of. Again contact details are on the above website. Although that is a w
