Where Can I Find Courses for a Career in Law Enforcement in Minnesota?
There are three reasons to enter a Law Enforcement degree program in Minnesota, namely, to start a career as a Minnesota Peace Officer, work in a law enforcement-related field such as corrections or security, or to go on to law school or another form of graduate school. The Minnesota Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) Board sets criteria for education and training for police candidates, so if that is the career you want, check that your chosen degree program is POST-certified. You will find courses in Law Enforcement at community colleges and 4-year universities. The three largest colleges are listed below. They offer courses leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
