Jerry Ayer has preserved the frozen carcass at the Blanco Taxidermy School. He says one of his students in Rosenberg found the creature with gray leathery skin. Ayer says he’s never seen anything like it and points out the unusual features commonly associated with the mythical beast known as the chupacabra. Ayer said he plans to preserve the animal and hopes a local museum will take it for display.
