Anytime you buy tickets from an online source other than the original issuer, you are not getting cheap tickets. Oh there are rare examples when you may buy from someone who can’t attent the event and just wants their money back, but those are the exceptions. Tickets brokers are in the business of making a profit on their tickets, so that means you pay more. I don’t consider those cheap tickets. In my mind, cheap tickets are those purchased for face value, and it is possible to buy cheap tickets to major sports events. I know. I do it every year. You just have to put in some effort and look to buy the tickets well in advance of the event. Ticket brokers count on buyers waiting until the last minute so they charge more for the ticket.
