Where can I find cancer research professionals who are upset with the failure of the war on cancer?
What Failure? First off, understand that there are HUNDREDS of kinds of cancer. Some have cures, some do not. Just because a cancer has no cure doesn’t mean that scientists are not working on it. If curing disease was easy there would be no disease at all. But metastic cancer is the worst of all. Metastatic means that the cancer has “broken out” of it normal location and spread to other parts of the body. For example, metastatic lung cancer means that you could have pieces of LUNG cancer in your brain or big toe. Yes, pieces of cancerous lung are actually growing in the big toe . . . And one of the hardest parts of curing any disease is to get the treatment focused. It is very difficult to “tune” a medicine so that it attacks, say, only lung cancer or brain cancer. The medicines usually attack ALL parts of the body, often with sickening results. Of course, surgery isn’t an option for metastatic cancer. Since it is not localized it cannot simply be “cut out”. Still, there IS much resear
