Where can i find ball jointed doll molds?
I don’t know of any place you can buy BJD molds. Companies spend a lot of time sculpting their bodies and head, make molds or pay to have them made and then sell their own resin dolls made with their molds. Read this – good info about Manufacture mixed in http://bjd-wtf.livejournal.com/309.html And this – about making your own BJD http://bjd-wtf.livejournal.com/1879.html If you make a good castable sculpt then sometimes you can pay an Asian BJD company to make the molds for you and even cast the dolls for you but it costs money – more money than buying BJD. If you make one that is so good they want to sell it, then they may make the molds for free and sell the dolls themselves and you would get a cut. But I only know one person who has managed to do that.
