Where can i find a zen garden?
If you don’t mind a trip, Hawkins Bazarre has a shop on Ousegate in York with those mini kits in and one of those is a zen garden. Borders Bookshop also sells mini ones. If you can’t find one, you can make your own though. A dolls house rake, a shallow tray that you grow bonzai trees in, some fine craft sand, some choice pebbles and stones, maybe one of those little oriental bridges you can buy for aquariums. You can get trays from a garden centre (if its a good one but see link below for the type of tray I used). You can get pebbles from anywhere, your own garden, the park, wherever. Craft sand comes in smaller bags than silver sand from a DIY centre (see second link to Panduro craft supplies site) and Panduro have pebbles too. Dools House Emporium have garden tools in miniature for £1.96 and those aquarium bridges you can get from a pet shop. Can’t speak for any of these sites as to how good they are, just showing you what I mean. Hope this helps. If all else fails Amazon stock one.
