Lee DeWyze’s final three performance of ‘Hallelujah’ on ‘American Idol’ apparently put him at the head of the pack as far as the judges are concerned, with Kara DioGuardi describing DeWyze as “the heart of the show this season.”DeWyze’s second song of the evening, which was picked by Cowell, was ‘Hallelujah’ by Leonard Cohen, a song perhaps made most memorable by past ‘Idol’ contestant Jason Castro. But, DeWyze gave a performance that brought the crowd to its feet. Randy Jackson said DeWyze’s performance was his biggest moment of the season. “I’ve been waiting all season, man, to see who’s going to throw down the real gauntlet to try and win the whole thing … This was, I think, your biggest moment at the biggest time in your career on this show. That was unbelievable, dude,” he said.
