You can find the Partition Image tool at http://www.partimage.org/ which can create disk images to help speed up cloning systems or making snapshot images for backup. The XFS support has just been added in version 0.6.0rc3. It was a little tested with small partitions (300 MB), and large ones (15 GB), but we need more test to be sure this support is stable.. If you need this functionality or like to test, help them out and go there.
