HOwever, I couldn’t find much for free, just the following: The story is divided into several episodes involving Dexter’s enthrallment with Judy Jones. He’s a self-made man; she’s a beautiful, but spoiled, little rich girl who loves dangling men on a string and playing with their hearts. Dexter decides if he can’t have Judy, he doesn’t want anyone. Many years later, he learns that Judy is an unhappy housewife, stuck at home with her children while married to a bully who is unfaithful to her. What’s more, Dexter learns that she has lost her good looks. He cries at the end of the story because he realizes that he’s lost the illusion he had of Judy, his youth, and his dream.
