Where can I find a shirt that says “Jesus Freak” on it?
I am going to say this in love because I think your heart is sincere. I realize that I am probably of another generation than you and some things are just a matter of taste and the personality/temperament God has given us, but I have a couple of problems with shirts and other Christian message things like that (bumper stickers, etc.) that I consider a bit gimmicky. 1) Be careful about wearing, doing, saying things that don’t give proper reverence to Jesus. He is the Son of God, King of Kings, Lord of Lords. John, the disciple who perhaps knew Him best on earth, fell down before Him when He revealed Himself in His glory in the book of Revelation. Slogans that in any way diminish His glory and power may send the wrong message to a weaker brother or a non-believer who doesn’t understand, and doesn’t recognize your intent. 2) Aside from inviting the insult for your faith that you say you would welcome and not be ashamed to proclaim yourself a Christian, you are in some ways making yourself
