If you google “dog adoption” along with your city and state some shelters shoud pop up that would love to help you. I’m very glad that you’ve chosen to adopt a puppy instead of buying one from the pet store. So many dogs are put into adoption every year (most are even pure-breds!) and they really need people like you that give them another chance. Best of luck!
