Q: I have received a postcard from Freeparking A: Freeparking only sends postcards out to customers in the post when they have not logged into their Freeparking account for longer than 3 months. These are sent out to ensure that your contact details are correct and if not, customers are reminded to log in and update them. We do not send these reminders by email because, in a high number of cases, the email address will no longer be valid. Freeparking needs to ensure customers contact details are kept up to date. Freeparking sends out 11 renewal reminders via email over a 60 day period prior to the renewal date of a domain name. If customers do not keep their email address up to date then their domain names can lapse and all services will stop and they can even lose their domain names if they leave it too long. If a domain name is not renewed Freeparking does everything it can to contact the customer via email; fax if a fax number is included on the account; an SMS txt message if a mobi
