Where can I find a guaranteed credit card for someone with not so favorable credit?
There’s some so-called “guaranteed” credit cards out there, but one thing to keep in mind, that’s there’s always a catch. The catch with these cards is that they’re loaded with so many different fees (processing fees, participation fees, etc.) that use up all the available credit well before you receive the card. If you have money to waste in fees to get those cards, go ahead, but if you’re going to have to put any money upfront, you might as well open a secured credit card. At least with a secured card, whatever you deposit is your credit line, and the more you deposit the higher your credit line. Also, the deposit is sometimes linked to a savings acount which can earn interest while you’re building credit. Usually after a year of paying on time, you get the deposit back, and the card upgrades to a regular one. I posted links to some below that I belive that will help you.
