Where can I find a current emissions report on the greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane?
There are four places that would be a good starting point to find information on greenhouse gas emissions. Libraries in your area may have some or all of these publications. • The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), an international group organized by the World Meteorological Organization and the United Nations Environmental Program. They have issued a series of reports over the last 10 years or so. You can access their web page at: http://www.ipcc.ch/ • The U.S. EPA has published many reports on greenhouse gas emissions. A good place to start to find reports is their global warming site: http://epa.gov/climatechange/index.html • The Worldwatch Institute has published several reports on global warming, including the following: • Paper 138. Rising Sun, Gathering Winds: Policies to Stabilize the Climate and Strengthen Economies by Christopher Flavin and Seth Dunn 1997 • Paper 130. Climate of Hope: New Strategies for Stabilizing the World’s Atmosphere by C. Flavin and O. Tun
