Where can i find a course on care plans for nursing homes?
In my state care plans are written on an individual basis by a team of the nursing home staff including, but not limited to the doctor, Social Service Director, Director of Nursing, Activities Director. To the best of my knowledge there is no specific course dealing with lesson plans as those are usually covered in college courses for the different areas of expertise. Our state has guidelines that must be followed but specifics are not included. Check with your state department of health or a local nursing home for more information. The nursing home can not show you someone’s care plan (duh) but they can advise you as to how to write one and show you the proper forms used.
