Where can I find a console table that is no wider than 12 inches?
I am running into that problem too and I’ve looked around and a nice alternative is to buy an aquarium stand. They usually are pretty inexpensive (you can often buy them WITH the aquarium on Craigslist for $50) or $75 for just the stand at the pet store. All you need to do is buy a glass insert from the hardware store for $10 or put a wood piece in it. I plan to buy one and paint it a dark expresso. Basically, it is the same thing as the $400 glass console table you find out there but comes with a shelf at the bottom (usually houses the 2nd aquarium).
