My favorite site for researching computer products of any sort is cnet.com. Go to reviews on the left and follow the narrowing categories. In your case, wide format printers. Another good source is pcmag.com. Again, go to reviews and search wide format printers. Another great site is Steves-digicams.com it is a super nerdy site that goes into amazing depth about digital cameras, printers and accessories. It is an ugly site with GREAT info. Use it when you’ve narrowed your choices a bit. I just bought the Epson R1800 after using it at a professional graphics studio for about a year. It can print 13 x 19, and continuous 13″ wide rolls. I think it is nothing less than stunning. The color matches my monitor nearly perfectly. Use Epson premium (ultra) luster for best results (imho). it is about $500 on Buy.com plus a rebate.
