for a 1996 Lexus LS 400 A: You will probably have to go “aftermarket” to get a CD changer for your car. A good supplier which I have had good experience with is Crutchfield (www.crutchfield.com). They have a function called “Outfit my car.” Choose the car year, the brand, model, and then what kind of stereo your car currently has (your car has two choices: with Nakamichi and without Nakamichi). The site then will give you a list of stereos and options that can be purchased. Just glancing at the website you may have limited options on such an old unit. Good luck with it.
