There are no generic/universal mass storage device drivers preinstalled in the Windows 98SE operating system. You will need to install some additional drivers for it. STEP 1 – Download the Windows 98 SE drivers from the SanDisk website Click on your product: 1. Cruzer Micro (non-U3 devices) Cruzer Mini (non-U3 devices) Cruzer Titanium (non-U3 devices) Cruzer (non-U3 devices) 2. Download Winzip if necessary 3. Unzip the drivers to a selected location in the PC STEP 2 – Run the setup.exe file 1. Unplug the USB flash drive from the PC. 2. Run the Setup.exe file. 3. Follow the setup instructions. STEP 3 – Plug in the USB drive 1. If the drive is not detected, right-click My Computer. 2. Select Manage. 3. Under Computer Management, click Device Manager. 4. Click the + symbol next to Disk drives. 5. Right-click the USB drives and select Update Driver. 6. Click Yes, this time only. 7. Click Next. 8. Click Install the software automatically (Recommended) then Next. 9. Click Finish.
