A. Updates are available for IDS version 4.x ( registered customers only) and IDS version 3.x ( registered customers only) . These updates are used for several purposes: • Update IDS Sensors using IDS MC. • Update IDS MC. • Update Security Monitor. Note: IDS MC updates Security Monitor automatically if it resides on the same server.
