Unfortunately you can’t get it for free anywhere or sims wouldn’t be making any money. But if you have a friend also interested in sims 2 then you could do what me and my friend do (only an idea), we take it in turns to buy the game and expansion packs of course it’ll mean that one of you won’t have the latest game but it’s better than wasting money.
