Where can i download japanese(Shinto) Mythology ..?
I believe Amaterasu was the primordial godess (yes, godess), Izanagi and Izanami were the “parents” of the Japanese people, Tskuyomi is some sort of war demon and Susanoo was the god of death. although I am likely completely and totally wrong; dude just go to amazon! I don’t know Japanese mythology at all; what I DID read, actually it was more like skim, about, was Izanami and Izanagi. Because I don’t know who was the guy and who was the girl, I’ll just refer to them as “husband and wife.” Of those two gods, one was male and the other female obviously. The story goes that eventually the wife died, and grief stricken the husband went to the realm of the god of death, or the realm of the dead. The story also said, that no one who ate of anything from the underworld could return to the world of the living, which is what the wife did. So, hubby goes in after her right?
