Technically, it is illegal. Besides, the Wii emulators that do exist are often pretty crappy when you try to play them on a computer. In order for an emulator to run like the actual console, the computer would have to be about ten times more powerful. So any Wii emulators you find will probably run at a very, very low framerate. There are thousands (if not millions) of websites that offer emulators to download. Emulators themselves aren’t exactly illegal, but downloading and playing copyrighted games are. So if you downloaded and played a Wii game (copyright Nintendo and the game publishers) without paying for it, then you’d be cheating sales from those companies.
