Where can I dance Argentine Tango socially in Boston?
There’s a lot of tango going on here. If you are truly mad about tango, you can dance, practice or learn every night of the week in Boston. Here are a few of our favorites: • The Sunday Practica and MIT’s Free Practica on Thursdays. The Sunday practica is from 3-6pm at the Extreme Dancesport in Cambridge, and the MIT Tango Club’s Thursday night Practica is from 8-11pm in the elevator lobby of MIT’s Building 36. Both are excellent for everyone from beginners to advanced dancers, and you can work on what you’ve learned in classes to a variety of traditional and non-traditional music in a welcoming environment. • The second weekend of each month, you’ve got two really nice dances, Milonga Naranja on Friday and Blue Milonga on Saturday.
