You will have difficulty in encashing the coins in USA. Normallly Banks & Exchange houses do not encourage encashment of coins as they are weight bearing and require special packaging for despatch by Post or Courier. Hence the handling charges will prove costlier for the Bank or the Exchange House who agrees to handle the transaction. Best will be to contact persons visiting the Euro & British countries to accept the same and in return give you the exchange value prevalent in the market. Travel agencies may help you identify the individuals proceeding to the desired destinations as a matter of curtsey. Your approach should not cause embrassment. But what is the quantum of such encashment?? Hope it is not substantial. Alternatively keep the same as a collection item and develop some more accumulations of Coins as a hobby for interests.
