Where can I buy vegan condoms in Australia?
Q Hello, I’m vegan and was wondering about condoms. I’ve found heaps of different sites on the internet that say condoms are not vegan, it seems condoms have casein added, or are even tested on animals. But then there are some that are alright (like the brand Condomi), but I can’t find any that are available in Australia… and I’d like some more information, please. This is what I’ve been told already: (and I don’t know if its true) *’Two that are vegan are “Excalibur” and “Vis-a-vis” from Sagami.’ *’I am told that Mayer Labs condoms are not produced with any animal products.’ Please help!!!! A Yes, from what I understand, casein (milk protein), is used in the processing of some brands of condoms, although is not present in the finished product. Apparently some brands also use a non-fat dry milk powder. Condomi condoms are manufactured with cocoa powder instead of casein and are approved by the Vegan Society (UK). They contain no animal products at all and have involved no animal test
