Where can I buy the previous weekend edition on the Wall Street Journal?
Call up a friend who subscribes to the WSJ. OK, if you could do that, you wouldn’t have asked the Q. How about the parent of a friend of yours? Or, call some Chicago newspaper delivery outfits and some small stores that sell the Journal. I’ll bet there are stores, hotels, kiosks that have left over inventory which would be more than happy to sell/give you an old paper. Even Starbucks carries the WSJ. So, their outlets might be a possibility; although I am sure they dump old issues. Google shows the WSJ Chicago address as 1 S Wacker Dr # 2100, Chicago, IL 60606. (312) 750-4000. I’m not sure I trust this, so check this in your phone book. I’ll bet you a receptionist there will be sympathetic and set 1 copy aside for you out of hundreds if you tell her/him your tale of woe. If all else fails, put on some nice clothes and go into your local library and do you damnedest to sweet talk the librarian to lend you the Weekend issue (don’t rip it off!). Be prepared to give her/him some collateral
