Go on line. There are businesses that buy up stock from restaurants that go out of business. or go on line and look for sales of used restaurant equipment from a restaurant that is going out of business in your area. We just opened a restaurant and did not buy anything new other than what we couldn’t find used. Sometimes, you can get super bargains this way. However, if the equipment is mechanical, like the commercial refrigerator, beware. It can be one day from breakdown! For flatware and cookware go for it! Best of luck. It doesn’t matter if your dishes are old. Just make sure your food is new!
