Where can i buy pre-made crepes?
Since crepes are so thin and delicate, I really don’t think you can buy them premade–at least not ones I would consider eating. But they are really easy to make, so why don’t you try? You don’t need any special crepe pan–a good 10″ non stick fry pan will do. There are afficianados of crepes that would be horrified at this, but if you buy commercial pancake mix, and add 2 eggs to the regular recipe for 1 cup of mix, this will make acceptable crepes. The batter needs to be thinner than regular pancake batter as well, to make it easily poured, so a little more wet is probably a good idea. For a richer taste use cream instead of milk. Then make sure to preheat your pan. Add oil to coat the bottom evenly, and heat until it starts to smoke lightly. Then add a teaspoon of butter and let this bubble and melt before adding enough batter to make a thin layer on the bottom of the pan. Allow the batter to firm and then flip it. Each side should be lightly browned. Turn out onto a plate, and fill
