Where can I buy non-animal rennet cheeses and what brands are available?
Q Hi. Do you know of anywhere that sells a good range of vegetarian cheese, or of any lists of those manufacturers which make rennetless cheese? Thanks. A Cheeses made with non-animal rennet are quite widely available these days, and if your local health food shop doesn’t already stock them they should be able to get some in. There are a number or manufacturers and there are many different types – fetta, classic aged, brie, camembert, tasty etc, even lavender-flavoured cheese!
