Where can I Buy NES Games?

This is one case in which I have found it easier to just buy a Wii and buy the games from the Virtual Console store. NES games are $5 each, SNES games are $7 each, and you can store them all on one console, organized however you like. You can even buy a controller that more resembles the old game controllers.

If you want the actual cartridges, your best bet is through ebay or amazon. They have them on there, but for a lot of the games you’ll have to pay collector prices, which can be exorbitant. If you just want to play the games, you can get a subscription to ConsoleClassix, which allows you to play old games on your computer, totally legally. I think you can get a “Lite” subscription for free still, or you can pay some monthly (or annual) fee to play NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, GBC, GBA, Atari 2600, Game Gear, Sega Master System, or Colecovision games. They have thousands of games on there, and unlike downloading roms from websites, it’s safe and legal. It’s more like a rental service than anything.
