DESCRIPTION Lamisil is indicated for the treatment of a fungal infection of fingernails and toenails due to tinea unguium. It acts by inhibiting the enzyme, squalene oxidase which blocks the synthesis of bacterial and fungal cell walls thus preventing growth.
