Where can I buy electrical / electronics small / sharp / needle / tester / SMD / surface mount testing probes?
Pomona Electronics has several. There are models 6469 and 5953A. They aren’t as cheap as generic test probes, and also not reliable. I had resistance problems untill I opened them and properly soldered the connection inside the probe (it was pressure-fit before, but resistance was varying randomly). Also, the probes ARE small and lightweight, but it comes at the price of thin wire insulation. Several times in a production environment (constant use) the wires would break, someone would cut or melt the insulation, etc. So they would make fine for those special locations when you really need a needle SMD probe, but not for constant everyday use. And oh, they really are sharp and small.
