Your local garden centre that specialises in tree is a good place to start. However, please be aware that weeping willow trees can bring certain types of problem to small gardens. Never plant one within 30 feet of a building, or a drain, as the roots travel in search of water. If they find their way into drains they will grow up the drain and clog them up causing considerable expense. They will easily grow to about 20/25 feet and are best viewed from a distance to see their real beauty. If you intend to grow one where the branches will overhang the lawn there will be problems when you come to mow the grass as they drop their fronds (The bits that hang down) at certain time of the year. They get caught up in the mower and are a right pain in the butt. Also, the grass will not grow under the tree. They are beautiful trees and do not be put off planting one, but do be aware that they have to be planted in the right place.
