Where can I buy a shipping container?
Hi Joe. Your idea is excellent. I am In NSW Australia. I got one of mine from a company called Royal Wolf. They have an on line web site. The second came from a smaller company in Wetherill Park. (Fairfield) They have invented an alternative locking system so are also worth looking at. I have also seen containers on eBay and in the Trading Post. I use mine to store furniture and tools. Please note. In our summer, it get very very hot in side. Maybe as high as 80C For a motor bike you could need to install some air vents. In fact I would go so far as to say you must install some. Maybe also if you can set up a cover of some sort to reduce direct sunlight on the side of the container. This internal heat will be your biggest problem so consider this if your going to put a bike inside. I have also installed some lights in mine. If you do this REMEMBER to earth it as in the event of a active power wire short to it, that will make one very big electrified steel box. The next person to touch
