Where can I buy a safe double opt in email list?
This was selected as Best Answer Keep in mind that unless someone else is sending email on your behalf (but with their contact info, unsubscribe, etc…) you aren’t buying an opt-in list. Think of it this way — if you opt-in to my list then you’ve opted for me to mail you. If I go off and sell that list to someone you’ve never heard of and they email you, you’ve never opted in to that email thus it’s an advertisement just like any other general bulk emailing. If however I send an email on behalf of someone else with clear information that it’s from me and if you have an understanding that I will send these sort of offers then everything is on the up and up. I can’t sell my list data to someone else and call it an opt-in, but I can lease someone a spot in my regular mailings or a dedicated mailing.
